New 2021 Honda Civic Preview
The 2021 model will close out the 10 generation for this model line-up. Offered in either a sedan or hatchback, the Civic Coupe will not be available in the 2021 model year, but you may find its return in 2022. What drivers can expect is the continued excellence in the way of performance and safety standards.

What to Expect in Performance & Safety Standards
The new 2021 Honda Civic will carry over Civic drivers’ expectations for the car model’s high performance and safety standards. Drivers can expect the 2021 model to continue offering excellent fuel efficiency, just like in 2020. The Honda Civic with the 2.0-liter engine could get *EPA-ratings of 26/37/30 MPG city/highway/combined respectively with the manual transmission, and 32/40/35 MPG city/highway/combined respectively with the CVT. The real-world gas mileage of this model matches the EPA estimates well.
More Features include:
Honda Sensing
This package comes as standard in every 2021 Civic. It includes forward-collision mitigation with automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assistance, adaptive cruise control, road-departure mitigation, and automatic high beams.
Honda LaneWatch
This comes in EX trim and above. A small camera on the passenger-side mirror sends its images to the infotainment touchscreen. It’s the nearest thing to blind-spot monitoring the Civic can offer, but there’s nothing for the driver’s side.
Self-dimming rearview mirror
This feature comes with the EX-L trim. When you’re in a car, pickup trucks always seem to have their headlights at eye level. This makes life a little easier; your retinas will thank you for it.
